  1. Awsome info and straight to the point. I don’t know if this is actually the best place to ask but do you guys have any ideea where to employ some professional writers? Thank you 🙂

  2. I need to to thank you for this fantastic read!! I certainly loved every bit of it. I have you book-marked to look at new things you post…

  3. My primary professional role has been educator (28 years). Most of my work life, I was also employed part-time in education-related areas or retail sales. I had limited opportunity and prospects for professional/social connections outside of my isolated niches. I now want to take my experience and skills into the business arena. I am no longer employed, and recently enrolled in graduate studies that will lead to a Ph.D. in Public Policy and Administration, Nonprofit Management and Leadership. I live within a metropolitan area, am about to turn 54 years of age, and a single black woman. Grasping the new wave of technology, refining my personal image, and making business connections appear to be challenges akin to an on-line graduate program completion. I expect, and want to work for at least another 10-15 years. What advice do you have for me?

    1. Lisa,

Here are some steps to get you started.

      1. Define your hard and soft skills.
      2. Identify what field you want to work.
      3. Recognize what they are looking for and what skills you have that align with what they want.
      4. Craft your message so that when you communicate with people in the industry, you can relate to them.

In terms of meeting people, it has become difficult for many people to connect now, but I encourage you to use your network to introduce you to others.

      Continued Success,
      S .Renee
